MISSION

The purpose and goals of this student organization are to: The MCOM Dance Club seeks to serve those located at the Morsani College of Medicine downtown campus and facilitate growth in three core facets: social, physical, and emotional. By fostering a welcoming environment of social dancing, peer-to-peer support and interaction will occur. Through dance, strength, grace, and other physical attributes will be refined, leading to increased health. Emotionally, all are free to express themselves through the creative outlet of dance and grow confident in their skills, abilities, and themselves, in a manner respectful of all other participants. Predominantly, the club seeks to encourage the wellbeing of its members, chiefly through dance.

Free Weekly Lessons

Join us on Fridays on the 3rd floor ELL of USF Downtown's MDD building.

Lessons are taught in a relaxed yet engaging manner. Lessons typically start with learning a line dance or a shine before moving to partner dancing.

No partner or experience is necessary! Just show up and we will handle the rest!
