17th Annual MCHSO Symposium Day 1

The Maternal and Child Health Student Organization (MCHSO) at the University of South Florida proudly hosts the 17th Annual Spring Symposium, a two‑day event held on the USF Tampa campus. For 17 years, this symposium has brought together students, professionals, and community partners to learn, connect, and advance innovative approaches that strengthen systems of care and support the well‑being of women, children, and families.

Day One offers a grounding overview of maternal and child health in Florida and our local communities. Through panels and speakers, participants explore systems of care, basic needs, and the everyday realities shaping family well‑being. The day builds shared understanding, highlights current challenges and strengths, and sets the foundation for deeper conversations.
