Mission
Music Appreciation Club is a fun, casual setting where students who enjoy music of all kinds - be it indie rock, jazz, hip hop, hyperpop, or harsh noise - can share their music tastes, discover new music, and create new friendships through our music community. Our meetings generally consist of sharing and discussing songs which may or may not be based on a common theme (i.e. "best of the 90s", "artists of color", etc). We welcome people of all interests and tastes and encourage open mindedness in all of our discussions. Our club also hosts/attends special events (when possible), including but not limited to: regular CD/vinyl giveaways, local concerts, and house shows.
