About Us
The LIA University of South Florida Chapter is part of a pipeline designed to help Latino students beginning at elementary school and continuing through career placement. While this Chapter is an independent entity led by college students, it is actively supported by LIA Headquarters (LIA HQ) housed in Sandy, Utah. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to exercise their leadership skills, develop their professional knowledge, network, and reach their educational goals. Through cultural affirmation and networking, members develop personal assets that enhance their confidence and professional growth. The chapter actively recruits and mentors college-bound students, providing a strong support system, career-building opportunities, and connections with community partners. By participating in service projects and leadership initiatives, members strengthen their communities while preparing for future careers and leadership roles.
