Mission
The purpose of Latin Dance Club is to enhance university life by providing opportunities for students to participate in a socially engaging environment that will provide a multitude of interpersonal interactions. LDC offers a chance for students to spend time talking and physically interacting with other students in a positive and cooperative learning environment. The USF Latin Dance Club introduces different styles of Latin dance to members of all communities, advocating for student interest in diverse cultures that they may be unfamiliar with or were previously unable to take part in.
Additionally, the LDC Performance Team works to encourage students to pursue higher levels of dance education, while building a tight-knit multicultural team. Not only does this selective team provide more opportunities to collaborate with other organizations at USF, but it also allows for students to excel beyond the boundaries of USF.
