We are excited to welcome Michael Lynch, Investor at Ballast Point Ventures, to campus.

Michael is a growth-stage investor focused on software and healthcare companies, where he evaluates investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies through research, financial analysis, and strategic diligence. Prior to joining Ballast Point Ventures, Michael worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Raymond James in the Technology & Services group, advising companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises.

With experience spanning investment banking and private equity, Michael brings a strong perspective on the transition from sell-side finance to investing. He will share insights into his career path, discuss growth-stage investing, and offer advice for students interested in pursuing careers in investment banking, private equity, and venture investing.
