Hosted by the Hospitality & Tourism Student Club in collaboration and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC).
Resilience professionals and local government staff are invited to the Tampa Bay Resilience Design Challenge 2026 Final Showcase. Experience bold student ideas for living with water in Tampa Bay.
Multi-disciplinary student teams from across the Tampa Bay Region were invited to reimagine Tampa Bay’s future by the water. Over two months, student teams have developed visionary resilience proposals that they will pitch to a civic panel of Tampa Bay's leaders.

The 2026 Resilience Design Challenge is a civic simulation where students become the planners, engineers, designers, and policymakers to help shape Tampa Bay’s next chapter.
