Details
During this live simulation, participants will work in teams to investigate a patient case as it unfolds in real time. Rotating through five clinical stations — including vitals assessment, EKG interpretation, phlebotomy analysis, medical & family history review, and physical/mental examination — students will gather clues, analyze findings, and collaborate to determine the final diagnosis.
A short cinematic case introduction will set the stage, making the experience both engaging and realistic. At each station, presenters will provide a brief overview of the clinical skill before allowing participants to actively investigate and interpret the patient data themselves.
This event is designed for pre-med, pre-health, and health science students looking to:
Gain exposure to real-world clinical reasoning
Practice interpreting medical data
Strengthen teamwork and diagnostic thinking
Experience hands-on learning in a fun, high-energy environment
At the conclusion of the rotations, teams will present their diagnoses and compare their reasoning before the final reveal.
