HMSA Speaker Series: Hemal Prasad

The Health Management Student Association professional series speaker event connects students with experienced healthcare management professionals. These experts share their insights, experiences, and career paths, giving students a real-world understanding of the industry. The event also provides networking opportunities for students to build connections and seek guidance for their future careers.

Hemal Prasad, MHA, CAPM is the Program Manager for the Florida Finance team. His portfolio of work ranges widely, including regular financial operations such as monthly closes, financial reporting, and budgeting, as well as strategic financial initiatives such managing CCFL's Sustain the Mission initiative to supporting the enterprise's Cost Sustainability work.

Hemal is an alumnus of the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Fellowship, and currently serves as the Associate Program Director for Cleveland Clinic’s Graduate Administrative Internship. He received his Master's in Health Administration (MHA) from the University of South Florida, where he also served as an adjunct professor teaching Healthcare Finance to graduate students. Hemal received his bachelor's degrees in both Biology and Political Science from Emory University.
