"Future Professionals of Rural America" (FPofRA) aims to empower students at the University of South Florida to explore, understand, and prepare for careers in rural communities across the United States. We strive to do this through an array of immersive experiences, professional development, and community engagement projects that allow FPRA to bridge the gap between urban education and professional opportunities in the rural setting. Our organization is committed to fostering an appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working in rural areas while equipping students with the skills, resources, and insight necessary to make meaningful contributions to rural communities. By uniting students from the University of South Florida who share a passion for rural America, FPofRA strives to cultivate a new generation of professionals dedicated to strengthening and sustaining rural communities.
