Licensed as an Architect (nationally certified & licensed in multiple states), Interior Designer, Project Management Professional, Accredited Professional for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEEDap bd+c) and holds an MBA.  Steve has personally managed projects (many of them award-winning) ranging from $5,000 to well over $500 million in construction cost and spanning almost every type of Project delivery scenario.  This experience has resulted in a broad business sense, an acute sensibility towards design and the ability to create a powerful synergy when working with a terrific team. His successes have been through a deep internal commitment to excellence, sensitivity to relationships, and a design philosophy that is centered on the users of the Project rather than the Project itself.

Bradley graduated from Penn State University with a Bachellor of Architectural Engineering.  Bradley draws from a wide array of creative influences and curiosity to fuel his inspiration for lighting design. His evolving design approach is built on his balanced background of artistic and technical skills, and is purposed towards the applied realization of client’s architectural vision.

Bradley is a member of the HLB Daylighting and Sustainable Design Studio with a particular focus on the integration of natural and electrical light. He brings to HLB a strong design and technical background and fundamental knowledge of the interaction between architecture and light.

Bradley enjoys a diverse project portfolio and project sizes with HLB.  Variation in project types has strengthened his design approach, architectural knowledge, and project management skills. His portfolio includes hospitals, casinos, museums, site masterplans and streetscapes, higher education institutions, and hotels.

Matthew is on a mission to bring natural light, pleasant vistas, and visual comfort to buildings all around the world. Matthew leads our Austin, TX office and HLB’s Daylighting and Sustainability Design Studio. As the Primary Daylighting Practice Leader he manages the daylighting and electric lighting design for commercial and institutional efforts encompassing virtually every project type. He continually produces creative and technologically innovative work that includes LED media fac╠ºades, luminous membrane structures and custom daylight delivery devices.

Matthew is not only a passionate practitioner – he recently served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas School of Architecture, where he taught an Environmental Controls course covering daylighting, lighting, and acoustics. He is also a Fellow of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), an Associate of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and a lifetime member of Passive House Alliance Unites States (PHAUS).

Coffield King, Associate IALD, began his career working in architecture firms with a strong focus on 3D visualization and custom detailing. Projects included larger commercial buildings, as well as the design and fabrication drawings for custom light fixture installations. Over the last 13 years he has had the opportunity to design lighting solutions for an expansive array of project types including a large number of LEED Silver, Gold, and Platinum projects. Kevin is a very happy graduate of the NCAA Basketball Champions, University of Kansas.  Kevin Butler serves as a Practice Manager for Henderson Engineer’s Venue sector. He has been engaged in a variety of sports and entertainment facilities, including all of Henderson’s esports projects to date. Kevin is the go-to person for state-of-the-art esports event spaces, which continue to gain in popularity across the world. Kevin is active with the KC Esports Coalition and has most recently assisted NACE, the National Association of Collegiate Esports, to develop their physical build guidelines for varsity esports centers. With a background in live sound, broadcast, and event production, Kevin enjoys the diversity of sports and entertainment projects and being deliberate in how he creates the overall user experience.

He has more than 45 years of experience in electrical engineering design for a variety of facilities including airports, hospitals, municipal projects, healthcare, hospitality, schools, structured parking, retail, and office buildings. Gerry is a proven leader with great communication skills and is able to present complex information in an easily understandable manner, particularly to clients and to his subordinates. He is a natural problem-solver, communicator, and innovator.

Gerry is the lead electrical engineer on the USF Indoor Practice Facility project, and has also worked on other USF projects including the Recreation Center, Sun Dome Re-Roof and Practice Facility, Quinn Hall MBA Facility, Marshall Center and USF St. Petersburg Student Center.

Edmund Kwong is a Project Architect at Morphosis Architects with broad experience in the design and construction of a range of project types including academic, cultural, high-rise, and commercial buildings. Joining Morphosis in 2010, Edmund has played a leading role in some of the firm's most significant works including serving as Project Designer for the Emma and Georgina Bloomberg Center (completed 2017), the net-zero energy, LEED Platinum academic headquarters of CornellTech's new campus on Roosevelt Island. Edmund has also served on the project teams for Casablanca Finance City Tower, Bill & Melinda Gates Hall at Cornell University, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, and as the Lead Designer for Clyde Frazier's Wine and Dine. Currently, Edmund is serving as Project Architect for the new Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South. Mr. Kwong received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Master of Architecture at MIT. He was awarded a Residency in the MAK Center Artists and Architects in Residence Program in 2010.

Marcel Maslowski, AIA, is the President and Director of Design at Fleischman|Garcia|Maslowski Architecture and an adjunct professor at the SPC Building Arts program. Originally from Martinique FWI, he attended SPC and USF where he earned his Master’s in Architecture. Marcel’s design approach focuses on creating a sense of place deeply grounded in phenomenology. His designs have won national recognitions. Some of his most recent notable projects include the Starkey Ranch Theatre Library Cultural Center, Tampa Heights Elementary School, New Tampa Performing Arts Center and the Hanna City Center.
