Important Updates from COE Graduate Student Council

IMPORTANT:
TRAVEL GRANT FUNDING

Based on the results of the survey administered this fall, we will be applying for a Student Government grant to support travel to the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Conference being held in Chicago from April 17-23.

The Student Government Grant will support students from our organization to travel to a conference together. A few things to note:

  • Any travel that is being fully or partially funded by any other University entity other than Student Government isn’t eligible for Travel Grant funding
  • Funding is up to $500 per traveler, with a total maximum allocation of $7000 for our organization
  • Reimbursement may take up to 6 weeks after travel is complete
  • In order to be eligible for funding, you must be a current USF student and a member of the COE Graduate Student Council on BullsConnect

Save the Date for our Spring Welcome Back Event/Social on Thursday, January 12th form 3-5pm in the COE Graduate Student Lounge on the 4th floor.

Be on the lookout for an email and calendar invites for our spring rep meetings, which will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 3pm-4pm.

Join us this spring for our Graduate Student Writing & Study Groups! We will be offering two options for groups which will meet every other week.

GROUP 1: MONDAYS, 9AM-11AM | 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17

GROUP 2: TUESDAYS, 2PM-4PM | 1/17, 1/31, 2/14, 2/28, 3/28, 4/11, 4/25
