Charit-a-Bull Donation Drive

Feed-a-Bull, USF’s on-campus food pantry, supports students facing food insecurity by providing food, education, and resources for preparing balanced meals on a budget. This Homecoming, your contributions through Charit-a-Bull will help stock the pantry with essential items for students in need.
 

High-Need Items:
Canned chicken, tuna, and vegetables, cereal, oatmeal, pasta and pasta sauce, peanut butter, rice, ramen, snacks (such as popcorn, pretzels, granola bars), juice, shelf-stable milk, and hygiene products.

Join us for an energizing evening of networking, idea-sharing, and community building! Connect & Collaborate brings together executive board leaders and members from student organizations to spark partnerships, trade ideas, and explore opportunities.

Meet the CLCE team, your campus resource for leadership development, compliance, and event support. Whether you want to grow your org or get inspired, this is the place to be.

Lunchtime Leadership Series

Lunchtime Leadership Series: offers USF students the chance to connect with Tampa Bay community and corporate leaders over LUNCH to discuss various leadership concepts and gain insights from experts practicing leadership across diverse fields.

Selected Thursdays from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at  MSC 3308 (3rd floor).

What will you gain?
- Networking opportunities with peers and industry leaders
- Insights into leadership practice
- An opportunity to refine your leadership philosophy

We have two upcoming events:

• October 9th: Lunchtime Leadership Series with the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections
• October 30th: Lunchtime Leadership Series with the Spring of Tampa Bay

Upcoming Consultation Corner 

CLCE Collaboratory (MSC 3308)
 

The CLCE Collaboratory is a dedicated space for leadership training, civic engagement, and student organization work. It’s designed to support collaboration, planning, and development.

When not reserved, the space is open to registered student organizations on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Drop-in Hours:

• Mon–Thurs: 9 AM – 9 PM

• Fri: 9 AM – 4 PM

Reservations: Registered Student Organizations may reseve the CLCE Collaboratory (MSC 3308), through their MSC event planners, following MSC policies. They are limited to Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Bulls Service Breaks

Bulls Service Breaks (BSB) transforms students into community collaborators through immersive service trips. These trips focus on climate action, human rights, poverty, and children's healthcare, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The experience includes:

• Pre-Trip: Education and training.
• On-Trip: Community service.
• Post-Trip: Continued local involvement.

All-inclusive costs cover lodging, meals, transportation, and materials.

For Fall we have two upcoming BSB trips:

• October 24-25: Bulls Service Break: Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida
• November 7th: Bulls Service Break: Camp Boggy Creek

Civic Conversation Series: Engaging with
Our State Delegation

Ever wonder how state laws and decisions impact your community? Here’s your chance to find out! Join CLCE as we attend the Hillsborough County State Legislative Delegation Meeting and learn how to make your voice heard.

When: Tuesday, October 21, 2025 | 10 AM – 2 PM
Where: T Pepin Hospitality Centre, Tampa, FL

Transportation: Provided for students (limited seats available). Students with vehicles are welcome to meet us there.
Attire: Business attire is required.

                                   Stampede of Service

Engages students in meaningful service experiences that move them along the Community Collaborator Continuum. In the process, USF students will connect with each other around common causes while also learning how their passions connect to the SDGs and career competencies that employers seek in candidates. This is an experience that shapes each student while also making a positive impact in the community.

UN Sustainable Development Goal of the Month

SDG 2: Zero Hunger: is the second of the United
Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to
end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture by 2030. The goal addresses the root causes of hunger, including food insecurity, malnutrition, and unsustainable farming. It emphasizes the importance of supporting small-scale farmers, equal access to resources, and sustainable practices. Building resilient food systems that can
withstand climate change. Achieving this goal is vital for creating healthier, more sustainable, and food-secure societies.

Anna Kovach
Program Coordinator

We’re excited to welcome Anna Kovach to the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE) team! Anna is a USF alum and recently graduated with her Master’s in College Student Affairs. She’s passionate about student success, leadership development, and supporting student organizations across campus! Before joining CLCE, Anna worked in Residential Education, where she gained valuable experience in fostering student engagement and creating a positive campus community. When she’s not supporting Bulls, you can find her reading, kayaking, and exploring local springs! Welcome, Anna!
 

Bryan Stark
Development Coordinator

Bryan Stark, is our new Student Development Coordinator with the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE)! Bryan is a proud USF alumnus whose journey with CLCE began back in 2016. He quickly got involved through Bulls For Kids (now known as Dance Marathon USF) and went on to engage in many CLCE programs, from Stampede of Service to Lunchtime Leadership. After recently earning his M.S. in Educational Psychology with a focus in Sport Psychology from Florida State University, Bryan is excited to bring his passion for leadership, group dynamics, and talent development back to the Bulls community. We’re thrilled to have him on the team, please help us give Bryan a warm welcome!
