About Us

New Bulls Scholars (NBS) is an initiative of Undergraduate Studies to support first-generation college student success. The program is focused on supporting students' development as adult learners and leaders, providing a supportive experience at USF, developing a growth mindset for personal, academic, and career development, and facilitating opportunities for community and alumni engagement. NBS is a first-year program that promotes early adoption of undergraduate research and other high-impact practices (HIPs) as the framework for student success.
