Have you had experiences related to your disability that have affected your learning, sense of belonging, or how you’re perceived by others in academic spaces?

Join us for an exciting roundtable discussion featuring three disabled speakers at different stages in their academic careers: an undergraduate student, a PhD candidate nearing completion, and a professor. They will share their personal experiences facing stigma in educational settings and their journeys of self-advocacy. Attendees are welcome to contribute to the conversation and discuss the challenges they encountered, the strategies they employed to overcome these obstacles, and the ongoing efforts to create more inclusive academic environments. This dialogue aims to foster understanding, inspire change, and promote a supportive community for all.
