Welcome Back Supply Chain Bulls!

Hopefully you had a great summer and are ready for an amazing semester!

We're excited to announce that we have officially rebranded from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Student Roundtable at USF (CSCMP) to Supply Chain Professionals at USF (ASCM)! We are the same great organization with the same benefits, but we now operate under a different name and are associated with the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).

Read on to learn about the amazing things happening in the organization! Be sure to click "Show Blocked Content" if this email doesn't display properly in your inbox.

In supply chain spirit,
Supply Chain Professionals at USF Team

Congratulations to Juliana, our very own Young Professionals Chair, for winning the USF Bellini Center’s Pitch Competition this past April! Juliana won first place out of over 60 competitors and through three rounds of competition. Congratulations!

Juliana is a junior who is double-majoring in supply chain management and econometrics. She has interned at PODS and at Wabtec, and she has been a part of our e-board for the past year.

Attention declared sophomore and junior (preferred) USF Supply Chain Management majors:

The Monica Wooden Center is seeking nominations for the upcoming 6th Annual WISE conference (Women Impacting Supply Chain Excellence), to be held in Northwest Arkansas (University of Arkansas) on October 24th and 25th.  This conference gathers faculty and students from across the country and provides an opportunity to network with presidents and senior executives from companies such as J.B. Hunt, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Deloitte, Uber Freight, and many more.  Additionally, there will be tours and meals at the Sam’s Club Home Office, CSCMP Supply Chain Hall of Fame, and other spots.

While the conference registration fee is covered by business partners affiliated with WISE, other travel support and expenses are provided through USF’s Monica Wooden Center.  Therefore, the center is seeking self-nominations for those interested in representing USF at this amazing event.

How to Apply:

  • Along with your resume, please provide a 1-2 paragraph (less than one page, MS Word format) response to the following question:
    • Why are you deserving of representing the USF supply chain program at WISE?
  • Responses should be emailed to Ms. Elaine Singleton (elaines@usf.edu) before 11:59pm on September 12th. Please put “WISE Nomination” in the subject head of your email.
  • Nominations will be reviewed by a faculty/staff panel from the Muma College of Business.
