Mission
Our mission is to provide a community for students currently enrolled in USF's Master's of Library and Information Science program. However, all USF students and alumni are welcome. We encourage anyone with an interest in libraries to join, regardless of their academic major. We aim to facilitate and promote participation in the American Library Association by increasing awareness and use of the resources the ALA offers. SOLIS is a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to the profession of librarianship. We hope to provide member's with networking opportunities, skill development, and the relationships needed to have a lasting impact on the library profession.
