ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Department of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers will be creating a USF Chemical Engineers Resume Book. The "book" is a collection of resumes in pdf format that can be shared with our corporate partners.
The Department Canvas site will be used to house the resumes. Resumes will be collected via two assignments. One for full time opportunities (2021-22 Resumes Full Time) and one for co-op/intern (2021-22 Resumes Coop & Intern). A new assignment will be added each academic year. Individuals can update their resume throughout the current academic year by uploading a new file to the assignment. Cut-off dates for the resume book revisions will be noticed through Canvas Announcements.
Cut-off for the first fall semester resume book edition is October 8th.
Your resume should be saved as a pdf file. To ensure that your resume is included in the correct subsets, please use the following naming convention:
Resume_First Name_Last Name_Expected Grad Year_Expected Grad Semester
(e.g. "Resume_Jill_Jones_2022_Spring")
Your resume should be reviewed and critiqued prior to upload. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the many resume review workshops presented by engineering organizations such as AIChE, SWE, SHPE, SASE, and others.
Hey Bulls! The AIChE at Central Florida is having our dinner meeting on October 12th at 6:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to meet more people in the chemical engineering field and have the opportunity to hear more about "Data Science and the Chemical Indrustry"
