Desantis and the Future of DEI in Higher Education Debate

On Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00pm First Amendment Forum, College Democrats, and College Republicans will be partnering up with @thesteamboatinstitute to bring to the USF Oval Theater a compelling debate on the Desantis education agenda and the future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in higher education.

We are excited to have partaking as speakers Richard Corcoran, President of New College of Florida, former Education Commissioner under Ron Desantis, and former Florida Speaker of the House; Ameshia Cross, Director of Communications for The Education Trust, and Cable News Political Contributor; and moderator Carrie Sheffield, Senior Policy Analyst at Independent Women’s Voice.
